I have a mixed history with beef going back to the early 1990s and hits me whether I know there is beef in it or not.

Yup. I'll never be vegan due to my love of dairy, barring major health issues. Ovalacta Vegetarian is looking more and more appealing though. Would make being Kosher even easier.
