exactly! what happened? is it a social media algorithm suppression thing or have zine mods all collectively decided to keep it within specific discord servers for ?????? reasons?

Feels like, several years ago I was tripping over "applications open!!" Type posts for fanzines etc. These days it feels I usually only hear about zines when they're done and being sold.. not sure if the etiquette changed when I wasn't looking or if this stuff has got a lot more insular recently
