Acolyte 1: 'Hey, stop playing around with us.' Acolyte 2: 'Move, old guy.' Acolyte 3: 'Who even are you?' the mage stands haloed in light, with three (presumably 4) points of light viable under their shroud. Mage: 'This village is under the command of the Hexlord*. You will leave at once.' Footnote: '* Neither one of them could think of a better name.'

That's more intimidating than anything I could pull off.' jayce laughs. jayce: 'True, true...' they hug tightly. jayce nuzzles his face against viktor's neck, muttering a small 'love you'. they kiss. viktor: 'Mm... Actually, I might have a plan...'

in their home, viktor looks cross. his halo is spiking through the frames of the panel. viktor: 'Why did you stop me?' jayce: 'I don't want to see you get hurt! If we get involved, and blow this up into a bigger issue...' viktor crosses his arms viktor: 'What, then we'd have to leave? And this little domestic fantasy of yours would have to- !' jayce looks like a very sad puppy. viktor, realising that he's hurt him, recoils. viktor: 'I... I'm sorry, Jayce. I didn't mean that.' jayce takes his hand, rubbing his thumb against viktor's knuckles. jayce: 'I know. (It's okay...) You're just frustrated, and I understand.' they embrace gently. jayce: 'Look... You are right. We should do something. I just don't want you to be in the line of fire, here.'
