Getting older really is about less is more. I don’t want more friends. Most people I meet can’t hold a serious conversation and have a vapid look behind their eyes when you try to engage them meaningfully. Respectfully, I’d rather be so fucking alone than act like this brain dead schtick is normal.

There’s some people I’ve told at least 5x I don’t have the tiktok app so i can’t watch TikToks. Guess what they STILL send me. Like, you can’t convince me this short form content is not causing a huge spike in people being dumb as shit.

This actually came to such a head today i deleted my instagram today. But I’ve deleted social media before and this has not stopped people from TEXTING ME these videos. WHY???? When i get them, I will respond with human words only to be ghosted and sent another shitty reel in 4-5 days

What’s happening is someone sees some 45 sec clip that makes them chuckle 5x a day then sends that to you. All of the sudden you have 2 hours of bad makeshift “sketch comedy” to sift through because the least funny person you know thought it was hilarious
