If you are ever having a hard time drawing a deep belly button and don't have a good ref because you arent as big as your subject and/or can't take your own refs. In a pinch you can pick up an apple and position as needed. It's a very similar shape.

Nope, its not bad.
As stated a couple times this is more about the lack of diversity of body types. Im calling us all out to try different ones or experiment with less round shapes
For example, these are all different fat placements and breasts types/sizes on the same base body that arent just round

I see your point. The character is fat. As soon as the belly hangs a character is technically fat. Even if on the lower end but I think hyper hour glass is a better term

This is kinda my steps in fat, after this its immobile-blob. Sorry for the bad doodles using my finger & not feeling well atm

This is a jab at the average fatfur woman shape. Im guilty of this too.

But we should maybe look into some diverse shapes, not drawing just round full boobs. GIVE HER SOME NECK AND BACK FAT. She looks like a pin head blow up doll 😭. . .

Theres nothing quite like a mother bear's embrace in the cold of winter. great ref for how weight shifts to pull downwards! FLAT FUCK ASS LOOKING BEAR. Also good ref for licking something look at that backwards curl! Don't talk to me or my son again. Good ref for a judgemental expression. Shes like, fuck you and your bad fishing skill Elmer. Polar bears! Because of the melting ice caps its likely at some point these bears will either adapt or go extinct some day. So, show them some love!

Jaxon here is an olympic swimmer. Or so he claims. We have all seen his high dive. And it wasnt much to impress! Good perspective on how the head looks front facing and slightly tilted back. Loraine is back from the groomer and dressed to kill. Polar bears have very far set ears that are smaller and a bit more round than their cousins. Good forward facing ref I KNOW YOU DONT EXPECT ME TO GO IN THAT WATER AFTER I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE GROOMER RACHEL. Cool arial view Mmm, I dont like the look of that one. Looks thin. No Baliff Im talking about the Ice not pearl. Good mostly profile view!

Its good eat'n Thats just a huge bear. Good LORD. SIDE NOTE : the nose shadow is sometimes how people draw bear noses. Kind of like a cat nose. But you have to be careful when stylizing on short faces or your bear will just be a cat to the viewer. Jessica, I caught one for you. I know youre feeling down after Jake left you but its almost autumn. You have to eat. Another good ref for general shape and ear placement. Also the paws and how they flow! Fuck, I'm SOOooo thirtsy. Just a good bear. That all folks. LEEROY. I WANT THE TRUTH Crazy good face / Nose ref.

As a single mom of 3 she will do w.e it takes to kick you ass and give those babies a good life. Good ref for adding some attitude to your bear. She has the glare. Also, cute cubs with various facial patterns. I know you didnt just put the cookies away gerald. Bring that shit back out before I maul you. Really good angle here. Yeah, I got like 16 salmon this morning. I'm an apex predator cant you tell by my peak physique? Really good slightly above viewing angle/ head lowered. Oh man...theres no fish in the meadow. Carl lied to me. Crazy lighting on this one. But a fantastic nose/ head shape reference for before the thickening.

I saw a fat bear post so lets start a thread of real pictures of bears for reference.
I just grabbed these off google image search. However there are a lot of documentaries on kodiak/brown bears. Brother bear is a great study for drawn shape! Aaron Blaise also has Snowbear for polar bear shapes!
Fat grizzly with the cutest heas shape. Omg??? Her/him lips. Like, she could be the baddest bitch you know. Really clear picture of the head at a 3/4s angle Omg do you have chips in that bag?? Girl pass some my way. You know it's almost winter and a bear needs to blub up! Ears are pretty far set back. Possibly a 5 head but they are owning it. 10/10 bear Nose can wiggle move around and will often point towards the direction of a smell they enjoy. They do a big yawn. Honestly not as manicured as her other friends but she has the biggest mouth and catches all the food at the salmon run.
