it may not be that bad, actually, if my Fernandes ZO-3 is any indication - the placement of the speaker is similar and it doesn't feed back all that much, unless you turn gain way up

between your recommendation, the high regard the manga is seemingly held in, and the adaptation's place in the lineage of Toei shoujo shows, it seems I absolutely need to give it a try at last! if only to quench my apparently strong nostalgia for Aoyama face expressions

this may sound silly but with those screenshots you may have pushed me into finally watching the show

this is from one of the Mitsuru Aoyama episodes, isn't it?

makes sense, now that I look again the headlamps look very much like the ones in Fiat 126p's

FSO Warsaw?

now I'm kind of curious how that happened, this is likely some sort of connection of his to Hoods and Staple studios?

wow, I took my eyes off of anime for a while last year and I totally missed a Mizukami adaptation with five Yamauchi episodes in it - thanks for alerting me to this show's existence

thanks to you mentioning a while back that TRLE games are standalone, I've actually been playing a bunch of them for the past few weeks and I'm loving it!

(actually, I also grit my teeth a lot - TR controls have a lot of quirks to them and diving is pretty glitchy - but it's still very fun)

having played the PS3 versions of F3 and New Vegas through PSPlus - a more miserable experience since it adds streaming exclusive annoyances like input lag and bad video compression - I agree that all the shabbiness strangely suits the post-apocalyptic setting well

it's just that I've seen you post a lot about Goldfish Warning but I think I actually haven't seen you do any fanarts of the show!

yeah, expanding interest into previously unexplored artforms or genres has always been a rewarding and enriching experience for me, focused vertical explorations are fun to do but sometimes one also has to move horizontally, and more often than not this results in finding oneself new places to dig

btw forks of audacity exist so it might not be a bad idea to switch; I think tenacity is the main one right now, I tried it a bit and it seems close enough feature-wise
I moved away from audacity after years of use and what you describe only validates that decision

I'll admit I'm really curious about this article, but I'm also pretty sure the statement from the third paragraph that Silhouette Dance, Your Vibe and Motor Species have been produced by Takahashi is not correct, unless every credit listing I've seen on the internet is wrong

recently I've been gauging different alternatives after using spotify on and off to a various degree throughout last 17 years and unfortunately from the end user perspective it still looks to be the most convenient service of its kind, even if from an ethical standpoint it sucks now more than ever
December 2, 2025 at 6:38 PM
the thing is that even if you include file sharing services neither of this is "1-to-1 the same if not objectively better" than spotify, and each alternative lacks in either library size, availability or other QoL features
whatever option you choose there's always some sort of a trade-off involved

this may sound funny, but this game was my first exposure to how the JFK assassination happened in specific detail and so, while for most people their mental image of this event likely comes from various photos and footage of it I instead always picture the situation straight from the library window
