This is a great question! I think it's important to approach these topics with intrigue, but also patience and concern. Taking the time to digest the true story rather than jumping to report on it first is key to finding a good balance. #UWJ201 #310

This is such a great question. I feel like they all could be considered the same amount of ethical because including each of them within a journalism career is key for success. #UWJ201 #310

This is a great question. I think that both routes could be equally persuasive, but they just depend on what product is being sold and the intended audience for it. For instance, if someone were to invest in an automobile, they would want evidence that it was durable and safe. #UWJ201 #310

This is a great question. I believe that, ideally, companies should invest their energies to both product development and PR. However, if they wish to succeed in America's fast-growing capitalistic and corporate society, the best way to ensure consumption would be to elevate PR methods. #UWJ201 #310

Great question, I think a good way to ensure that you are reading unbiased material is to engage with media that refrains from opinionated writing. A good way to do this is to look across multiple resources that challenge your personal bias. #UWJ201 #310

Great question, I personally believe that it comes down to a person's inclination to inform themselves. It is a common problem in our country to engage in resources that just enhance and advocate for their personal opinions. So, I don't think it comes down to a specific party per say. #UWJ201 #310

to educate themselves. Do you believe that the concept of bias and mean-world syndrome could go hand in hand? What motivations and/or implications could there be if national news stations enacted this. #UWJ201 #310 pt.2

I was shocked to hear this as well due to my assumption that the higher-educated would be more inclined to confront their ignorance. However, I believe in order to prevent this it would be necessary to motivate and inform these individual's to partake in more research. #UWJ201 #310

Great question, I believe that refusing to remain ignorant to the world's political state is a necessary quality when enhancing education. Curiosity is one of the largest contributions to this ideology, so it could most definitely drive someone's yearn to do further research. #UWJ201 #310

Great question, I believe limiting TV at the corporate level would prove to be a bit difficult, as technology is so heavily involved in individuals lives. However, what we can tackle at large is the media that is being produced so that children may be educated without bias. #UWJ201 #310

Great question, I definitely think that Trumps presidency will have significant impacts on representation in television. The discrimination that already exists within this area, as you mentioned, is ubiquitous. I believe that with Trump's DEI policies, this discrimination will burgeon. #UWJ201 #3

I believe that news stations, especially during the election process utilize agenda setting to the extreme. On both Fox and CNN, for instance, two of the biggest contributors to the polarization in the U.S., it is noticeable that the journalists are reporting with bias. #UWJ201 #310

Great question! I believe that if corporations continue to monopolize, they could potentially reduce the rates of success that independent companies have. For instance, it would be difficult for a small business to achieve ubiquity if the globe already knows of the larger ones. #UWJ201 #310

I remember hearing about this as well. It reminded me of the ways in which news stations report on political campaigns, elections, and candidates. It's important to recognize the connection between Horserace journalism, to the spread of misinformation for entertainment purposes. #UWJ201 #310

Large corporations like Amazon and Google should absolutely be regulated. Because their influence is so potent, the ways in which individuals consume media becomes "tampered with." Monopolies of size such as these should be met with the same rules that traditional media follow. #UWJ201 #310

Good question! I feel like consumers should have the right to decide whether they want to opt out or accept. Because there are so many risks with accepting cookies, such as data breeches, individuals deserve a way to access resources without having anxiety about their privacy. #UWJ201 #310
