The Amazing Digital Circus characters in Silksong, descriptions below (spoilers):

Jax (Escaped Petinent): Found in mount fay, hiding out in an abandoned section of the crumbling slab. unable to escape westward due to the cold, unable to escape through the slab because of the guards. Swipes keys and supplies, and issues an escort mission quest, which grants an additional simple key as a reward.

Kinger (Soul Keeper Kinger): Break enough lamps, kill enough lampbearers, release enough soul butterflies, and Soul keeper Kinger will spawn in a whispering vault corridor. He will thank you for freeing the souls, which find their way to him. Free more souls and eventually he will be consumed by their light, unlocking a boss fight.

Ragatha: Songclave npc, arrives in songclave after being found/rescued from high halls. Refuses to rejoin the fleas until "all the citizens of songclave are taken care of!" Acts as additional incentive to complete more songclave wishes. She only rejoins the fleas after enough wishes are granted, locking fleatopia behind an additional requirement.

Zooble (Fifth Sentinel): Found deactivated in the wisp thicket. Interacting with them reactivates them, they escape out of the screen. Tracking them down enough times makes them spawn into wisp thicket, unlocking a boss fight. The initial fight is easy, but you are able to equip them with your own red tools, increasing the difficulty and allowing you to practice dodging different attacks.

Gangle: Found in graymoor after defeating crawfather. Finding her unlocks an additional quest where you can find/deliver different materials to her that you obtain from hunting/breaking plants or items. What materials you choose to bring her adds points to either her ecstacy or apathy values, (the dialogue she gives will let you know which one). After receiving 7 items she will paint a painting for you. Depending on her ecstasy or apathy value one of 3 paintings will be created, and can be displayed in your bellhome.
