I am personally not a fan of this new mentality, where if you criticise a queer person's behavior on any level, you are magically only acting that way or asking those questions because you're appealing to homophobes and transphobes for attention

#Bugsky 🐙🌿 Earwig Egg Update! Yesterday I took a photo of earwig eggs, and when I lifted the rock today, they were hatching. The new babies are transparent except for their compound eyes and mandibles; those were the orange spots you could see on the eggs yesterday. Check out this cropped photo--

Here is your Saturday Snoot. This colorful little cartoon-looking critter is a planthopper nymph, about 1 cm. long, from Costa Rica. I do not know the function of the marvelous snoot. (Per iNat, family Dictyopharidae, possibly Lappida sp.) #Bugsky 🐙🌿👃

We found oyster spiders today during my oyster lab field trip for my Invertebrate Zoology class! These are marine spiders! They have special setae (hairs) that trap air and let them live underwater. #invertebrates #spider

Ntm the sheer number of people who will label the members of their mlm ships lesbians and call it yuri all while ignoring all the actual women in the media in question. Getting genuinely angry with you if you point out that the characters are men and that calling men lesbians is actually not good
