I'm confused, why is you logo a a slightly changed for of the Nazi eagle on the backdrop of a Nazi flag 🙃

Basically they have to show they do something against the problem, "ninja swords" sound especially dangerous and are pretty cool, i.e. potentially liked by criminals too, so forbidding them might look like they are trying to solve the problem even if it's unlikely to change anything.

Also to be clear "huge problem" is in context of the UK, in comparison to e.g. school shootings in the US the UK knife stabbing problem is very much not huge at all.

Similar I won't exclude the possibility of current case to be just fear mongering nonsense about "something something nijas bad".
March 29, 2025 at 10:01 PM
To be clear I'm not too informed about the exact current state of knife crimes and choice of knifes by criminals in recent years in the US but knife types which had been used especially wide in crimes or cause especial bad wounds to be fully banned.
March 29, 2025 at 10:01 PM
UK has a huge problem with people getting stabbed. This might be referring more to various "ninja themed" blades between large knifes and machete size, then it's about Ninjatos or Katana. In general all of this blades are already illegal to carry in public and require "safe storage".

the kitten catcher 2000

in addition to catching kittens it also allows drying cats, and can act as an emergency escape ufo

its style was designed after how people in the year 2000 imagined space fairing equipment would look in the future.

Even financially well of German fascist would not buy a Tesla, they are proud of Germany so obviously they would buy a German car.

And with things currently stand if they where in power they probably would mess up e-cars to a point Tesla can't operate profitable here, this might change tho.
March 16, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Tesla cars are only affordable by wealthy people, nearly all wealthy and rich people in Germany are very anti Neo Nazi/anti-fascism even the conservative ones. Most neo nazis and fascists in Germany are financially struggling. 2/3

No it's normal, he did a Nazi salute in a very clear unmistakable way in a speech using the same seemingly harmless but in context of Nazis not harmless language the Nazis tightly associated with the Nazi salute. 1/3

The whole "public square" analogy never made sense IMHO. For pretty much any public square I know about if you continuously go around harassing people or similar you will get kicked out. Either by a local community and/or police escorting you off.

To be clear this is all very over simplified. But the core takeaway for me is that while there where oversights in de-nazifing old money in western Germany if everything else would have been somewhat fine this wouldn't have mattered.
February 24, 2025 at 1:09 AM
Large parts of the politics easily being protraitable by right wing propaganda as not caring a bit about this doesn't help here either.
February 24, 2025 at 1:07 AM
If you also add that due to money corruption a lot of very bad decisions where made in recent years, which lead to a economical sub-par situation which like so often first hits those which don't have much which also often happen to be the ones more likely to vote for AfD.
February 24, 2025 at 1:07 AM
This to some oversimplified degree is where the whole "alternative for Germany" slogan comes from, by convincing (rightfully) most of Germany that the CDU is corrupt, that there are no alternatives (wrongfully), but the AfD can make Germany grate again.
February 24, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Then there is the thing that one of the most influential conservative news paper org(Springer Verlag) have been running dirt campaigns against competitors of the CDU for decades, especially in focus the green party. And that isn't helping either as the CDU also did lose a huge amount of trust.
February 24, 2025 at 1:07 AM
There is the thing that during Covid state and media messed up hugely accidentally providing one perfect assist for extremist to radicalize people after the other (and especially build huge distrust into state media channels even in many people not radicalized, which likely voted CDU).
February 24, 2025 at 1:07 AM
There is also the general point that a lot of AfD voters seem to be influenced by economical hardship and the AfD promising them to fix it (but they are very empty promises). And any economical problems tend to hit eastern Germany especially hard due to a missing buffer/economical diversity.
February 24, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Like try to rebuild your economy when nearly any important piece of economy which might settle in your state gets bought off by your rich uncles (mainly Bavaria). So in turn outside of e.g. Tesla hardly any _new_ industry settled in eastern Germany (old industry was mostly taken by Russia).
February 24, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Through this wouldn't have been enough to end up with the current situations, years of very short sighted political and economical decisions might have contributed more then any not happened de-nazification.
