Some charities we recommend include Gendered Intelligence, Mermaids and The Good Law Project

💓 Be a safe space 💓

Make sure people know you are safe by signalling you are. For example, highlighting your pronouns even if they align with your gender, or using gender neutral terms (such as folks instead of guys)

It’s our 7th year running and I started this initiative because as a young gamedev I really wished it existed for me. This is a message to the games industry at large, if you are benefitting from non-profits or any other organisations like ours to build up and nurture the talent that ultimately make the games and products that you profit from, then please don’t take us for granted.
