Just got back from a whirlwind trip to Niagara Falls to see this absolute legend. I last saw him probably 25 years ago, and 84 years old (almost 85!),the pipes are still impressive. #TomJones #GoldenVoice

The theme for this week's #ShowMeYourKnits is baby items. One of my go-to items to knit for babies is a blanket. I've knit the Chevron Baby Blanket from Espace Tricot 3 times! It works up really well in Caron Cakes, if your recipient is okay with acrylic yarns. #KnitSky #BabyKnits

Lily Chu has gained my undying respect and gratitude by correctly using the phrase, "on a deserted island." I suppose "desert island" is considered common usage by now, but I'll never stop railing against its use. In any case, read The Comeback; it's a good one.

Not the greenest of knits, but extremely important and relevant, given the most recent news and Israel's continued genocide against Palestine. I adapted this flag from a pattern by Wendy/@wendebular (Rav and IG) for a friend to wear on a bag strap.

POV: I am lying in bed, and taking a photograph of towards my feet. The lump in the center of the photo is my legs extending to the end of the bed, and my two tan coloured dogs are lying on either side of my legs. They are pinning the colourful, mostly green granny square afghan to either side of my legs so I can't move. Definitely can't get out of bed.

I realized that I never posted a photo of my FO for the #SkyKAL, and sadly I only snapped a quick pic before packaging it up for shipping. Here are two versions of the Bolton Pass hat by Espace Tricot, in Knit Picks Swish DK

Finally started my #SkyKAL project last night! Barely anything yey, this is the Bolton Pass Hat pattern, by Espace Tricot, in KP Swish DK. This will be the 4th time I've made this hat!
Great pattern, but sadly only available as a free Rav download, so I won't link to it.
Approx 2.5" of a handknit hat on the needles, shown next to the cake of yarn in a wooden yarn bowl. The yarn is a medium denim blue and the background is a greying wooden slat table.
