California did that years ago peacefully and with no fanfare. Certainly zero pearl clutching. I live in a predominately Mexican-American neighborhood in California and could not be happier. I have great neighbors - we look out for each other - and many are good friends.

I totally remember the figures skaters were required to complete and was sad when they went to the short program in 1990. WTF Olympics?! Those are really hard to do and separated the practiced 5 million times long program from it. I also think that Milan Cortina barely phoned in the O.C.s.

It all looks dry as the Sahara . . . makes me thirsty just observing it. There is zero cheese in that supposed mac and cheese. Even the mashed potatoes look dry and I would not have thought that likely. The turkey is for the trash. Just like Leavitt is all around sans the criminal intent.

I have never understood why Christians wear the instrument of their namesake's execution as a symbol. Would it have been an electric chair if that was the method? This Historian knows there is no actual historical record of a Jesus-figure and the Romans were pretty good record keepers.

It's the biggest American feast day, leave people alone about so-called "healthy eating" which will likely be proven false in four, three, two, one . . . (Remember eggs, and coffee, and so on, just wait a bit). Again, it's a feast day . . . have fun and enjoy your big meal and that nap afterward.

The Thanksgiving turkeys have not gone on sale yet. Just wait a few weeks. Most will likely be no more than $1.09 a pound when last year (2024) the cheapest price was $0.79 a pound.
