A 1/2 hour goes by and this GHO takes off into the woods. I am in my car blind, and hopefully have become part of the landscape. I'm feeling pretty good about my distance away from the nest, I go to start the engine and on queue, the Owl pops its head around the tree #warrencountynj #greathornedowl

I look up at every stick nest like it holds the Holy Grail. Never, do I find an Owl. Never. So many Nevers, that I sometimes don't check my camera right away. The Nevers are over. And this nest has babies. I think this might be the universe giving me a high-five.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
