now one candidate is the king of the carbon tax haters, and one candidate recognizes that times are gonna get tougher (thanks to tariff head), and both campaign on dropping the tax. again, helping citizens. no?

so they put on a tax to collect money to fight climate change. for our kids' futures. people screamed about the price increase, so they offered a rebate to lower incomes that more than offset the cost (assuming, i guess, that other stuff also got more expensive). so far, keeping best interests.
