not gonna lie, he seemed to rush through his set list and had no banter or eye contact with the audience, but something about his presence gave me the sense that he was glad to be alive and to be able to play music

agreed. @gordonhodsonphd.bsky.social and I have a paper under review that examines predictors of (a) belief in the existence of systemic racial inequality and (b) support for policies to remedy systemic racial inequality. we would love to read any references you could suggest on the distinction.
