There is a positive outcome possible, though not assured. It will take WORK. There are already people dug in and fighting tooth and nail. All we have to do is join them.

Americans might see how WE control the government when we work together, and feel empowered to control it. Instead of sitting behind our screens wishing our lawmakers would do something different, we might finally sit up and take the wheel.

If we pull this off, if the American people save our democracy and fight off the Nazi takeover...we will see how powerful the American people are.

Yeah we don't need to tout them as a "great news source" because they aren't. But in this case, they did the right thing and we should celebrate it. And next week when they're shitty again, we should hold them accountable. IMHO.

I have major fatigue from long covid. I limit my access to apps using app blockers. I use whatthefuckjusthappenedtoday.com for short, important news summaries.

Make time for joy, it's a survival tool. Same for rest. Connect with your community, in person if possible.

We will get through this.
