Ex GOP, ex evangelical, convinced Christian universalist, bereaved mom, married. I love Jesus. I hope you like books, birds, and cats as much as I do. God is love, and love wins.
Uh-oh. Somebody's in trouble.

Yes, and the winners of local elections often work their way up to state elections, so it's important to get good people in on the ground floor.

Yes, there are more important things than Wordle. 😊

Good job! I remember those new-baby days. Both challenging and wonderful.

Thanks! I'm glad I finally know, too. I always wondered. Finally found photos online that match what I see here.

Great article, very encouraging. Just yesterday, I "finished" a novel. First draft, that is. I love his perspective of seeing it as a staging place, not the summit. So true. And his focus on *all* that we accomplish/learn/create, not just the actual writing, is so good.

Our rules were always: You can't spend money; it has to be something you already own; the weirder, the better. There would always be one truly good item that got swapped and reswapped until a lucky person took it home. We still have a small cast iron pig that we won 30 years ago. 😊

"Beauty will save the world," as Dostoevsky wrote, and it can save lives too! So glad you're here.

Beautiful. We used to live where we had gorgeous sunsets, but where we live now, we'd have to stand out in the middle of the street to see them. I like trees, but sometimes you can have too many trees....

You do have a great gallery! I checked it out, just briefly. Will go back when I have more time.

Yay! 4 for me today, but yesterday I got it in 2. Now I can't even remember yesterday's word, though!

One of our cats decided to sleep on one of the (fabric) gifts hadn't wrapped yet, and now I need to vacuum it.

I love that! Love Madeleine L'Engle in general, too.

Stunning! They're supposed to be in my area in the breeding season, but I've never seen one. We see rose-breasted grosbeaks some years, though.

And to you! Have a great day.

Love it. Time with just a cat, coffee, and the Lord.
