The animal sampler design is something that I come back to often.  Originally inspired by an antique appliqued quilt the design is ever evolving but usually comes back to some sort of symmetry which was at the heart of the quilts design.

Is anyone else obsessed with the dancing elephant helicopters or is it just me?To celebrate at the annual republic day parade in New Delhi in the 70s the Indian military decided to dress their Chetak helicopters as elephants to perform and dance for the crowds. Collectartfair previews open today.
