Yeah I think most my age will have heard that many times. Needs a bit of sensitivity, context and nuance but no question it led to greater support.

Sounds a bit insensitive and kind of ignores the regard in which the Babes were held before Munich as well as the 60s swagger United from which much support derives but I think most would get the point you’re making.

When I was at uni he headlined a full day/night of bands. I was only expecting to drink but asked him into the studio for a late night interview. Was well out of my depth; the studio failed at first. He remained gracious and entertaining. I have (a version of) the interview somewhere. A true gent.

Have you met with the head to talk about what help she can get? If undiagnosed it might take a while without going private but there might still be things they can put in place.
