We attempted to hike Goose Eye but surprise, Surprise Road is now a snowmobile trail despite having been told that it was plowed and easily driveable a couple of weeks ago - I think we might have needee to have hit it from NH side.
We turned the truck around and opted to break open Table Rock!

“The Wild Robot” is based on Brown’s 2016 children’s illustrated novel about a robot named Roz, who had been programmed to work with people and who is shipwrecked on a wooded island filled with all kinds of wildlife but no people.
‘The Wild Robot,’ based on Maine author’s book, gets Oscar nomination
The book is one of a series by Midcoast author and illustrator Peter Brown.

Sharing some of my favorite Loon photos that I took in Acadia this last summer. One chick fully fledged and left for the ocean in November and it was incredible being able to watch them!

Sand Beach covered in a blanket of snow. It feels so special to have experienced this - it feels like the coast hasn't gotten so much snow in 5 years!
