At Officer David Rose’s memorial today we saw a glimpse of the man behind the uniform; he was a Marine, a husband, a father, and leader of his academy class. He played basketball with friends, traded snacks with coworkers, loved his motorcycle. His competitive streak pushed others to be their best.

I’ll be that person- the protests were great, but unless it translates to votes (especially midterms) then it was just more theater. Kamala had great crowds and vibes too. Every election, every office, every ballot, every single time, needs to be voted on.

Every Dem senator that voted to confirm the cabinet members in the #signal chat needs to face a primary and be accountable to their constituents. So many of us asked for no votes, and none of this is a surprise.

Dissociating, watching With Love Meghan. It’s a sickly nightmare. She’s called about 25 different things “sweet” in one and a half episodes while also teaching me how to make a PB&J sandwich and a fruit platter.

The blackout doesn’t have to end today. Commit to spending your dollars locally so they stay out of the hands of mega corporations and billionaires. Follow our boycott guide and continue to support micro economies in your local town or city.

16 Democratic senators recently voted to confirm the Trump-appointed Treasury Secretary who just gave Musk’s team access to a Treasury payment system that disburses trillions and holds mass quantities of personal information. Food for thought. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

More than 100 Colorado school districts have declining enrollment. State funding cuts could come next.

#colorado #parents #school Real questions- when you think about your kids’ school, or your kids’ school district, what do you like? What are you worried about? If you were in a position to change something, what would you do?
