The material covered will be the prerequisites for the Balboa Workshop with July and Stan on 4/21. Balboa, also known as "Bal", is a close-embrace swing dance that originated in Southern California during the 1920s and enjoyed huge popularity during the 1930s and 1940s. It's a style that can be mixed with your Lindy Hop and is easy to do with fast music without expending too much energy.Over two hours of instruction, we'll cover basic Bal connection, basic footwork, the comearound, lollies, and the toss-out. $35 in advance$40 day of workshop Also available for streaming on Zoom.Full class replay and recap available the next day.No partner or experience required.
