Having gone from dept of transportation to DHS was a nightmare. This whole fiasco was unnecessary and has done nothing for the country except cost a lot and generate chaos.

A reduction in force requires a specific way to identify and develop employees rights under Title 5 of the US Code. It is also very costly as those impacted are entitled to separation dollars. Pink slips are not within the Federal Law for status Federal employees. Blow you smoke somewhere else.

Have you priced any furniture built in the US? It’s beyond most budgets. Or it’s like paying for 3 semesters of college without living quarters. Most salaries can’t afford it and building it in the US you won’t find investors willing to build facilities.
