Honestly, they're all great and scratch different itches. But I think Spirited Away has the most complete story. A bit long but eh. It was also the first I saw.

Ufh same, I'm taking a 50% course in creative writing and the perfectionism has really been flaring up. I find doing things just for myself helps.

Heh yeah that's the age I watched it. I was very much Shinji at the time and no one helped me. As I've rewatched it 4+ times since then I guess I see the problematic adults more.
