Never thought I'd see one of these in the wild

Currently playing Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D remake and as someone who never played the original,this is one of the coziest yet addicting game loops. The music and world are so charming. Just reached level 20! I've only played 11 to completion and 8 a long time ago on the ps2.Other good DQ games?
