You may or maynot want to pop along to nearest costco and aquire their huge bag of chocolate covered Brazils.. they do worryingly seem to evapourate quickly, so I recommend at least 2 huge bags.

Love the pic of you holding it, just like you have caught it in a trap or something :)

Maybe in Brazil instead of having AOL CD's pushed through their doors, instead it's copies of GTA V ? Whole of Brazil is making clocks and coasters out of them.

If some manager thinks it will save them money, or they can profit… likely won’t care how reliable it is

Guess if you need the paycheque and you are stuck in some code dungeon, perhaps.. or you are a souless ghoul and think billionaires are awesome ?

Holy hell that is bleak! That's just an overly complex "nope" machine! Unless the person is wearing a balaclava and pointing a sawnoff shotgun at the operator, how the hell can you tell from their face if they are good for a loan?

Yup you can, and it will even run well on a Switch. Honestly. (With the obligatory depends what you are building obviously, not cyberpunk :) )

Agreed, but why would someone learn c++ that way? If the aim is to build something in the engine, then BP would be the lang.

Just had a thought relating to this :) not sure if it’s possible, but could you use a custom decorator to do this?
[Loop(2)]
{
Code block
}
???

Pretty sure my Dad would struggle to read a BASIC listing from an 8bit micro for example. As coders, I doubt we can comprehend perceiving code with zero understanding.

I guess one test you could do; print out some C#, and show the listing to a parent or similar who has NO prior computer experience beyond maybe using one, and ask them to explain it to you, and give no guidance. I suspect the majority would struggle with C# which I agree can be easier to read.

i've had plenty of experience of projects where the devs have picked up C# from Unity.. it's NOT pretty, and they clearly missed a lot of obvious stuff. Props to them for doing it, all the same mind. Only real way to tell would be with some human clones and illegal experiments I think.

My point being, unless you are akin to reading code, it can all look esoteric weird scribblings. Once you understand how code works, you can start to decypher the language more easily, so to a non-coder I'd argue they're all just a pain

As a person with 0 programming experience, I think picking up any language is going to be difficult. Both C# and C++ have similar syntax, if you can read one, you can muddle through the other. Lisp breaks me, Prolog is weird. (Python enrages me ;) but that's a different issue)

Not like C# sorry, !JAVA is a spring chicken either ;) whole thing kicked off as Microsofts ongoing efforts to kill off JAVA. 25 years old officially, but likely roots back to 1996 :)
I'm too old to be supporting Logan's Run ideologies for anything! :D

If it works, it works!
For the record I have never taken any course in c++, or read any books on it. Just picked it up from examples and the like. But I probably have .. "issues" .. :D and this is how I have picked up every language starting with 6502 ASM :D
