I am about the books. Books & Medieval History. Books, Medieval History & the Environment. Books, medieval History, the Environment and the ongoing pandemic. (she/her) I remain resolutely anonymous.
I saw this one a couple of days ago. It is on a slow but steady path to engulfing the city. #ThickTrunkTuesday

So *that’s* why I bought a pair of red Earth Shoes as soon as I saw them a few years ago.

Most houses around here buy their Halloween decorations. I like this house's creativity.

I've really enjoyed the thrushes who sit on the railing just outside my door and pose.

I have a flock of hermit thrushes in my back yard, hopping around the raspberry cane, and eating wild grapes growing on my house. Here are 2 of the many. They have a much prettier colour than I could capture thru the door.

Then there was the promo of the DVD with the llama. Ok, it was excellent fan cover art by 11th hour but still..

A very humid night left moisture on a metal shed. I think it looks like a curious fox. Then later, a llama with an ermine looking up at it.

We are having such a warm fall so far that a new plant & flower has just popped up in my yard. Spiderwort, an "early blooming" plant. Never had it before. Don't know how it got here!

I love seeing the backs of old garages. The house may be modernized, but garages used now as sheds, betray their age.

Anyone in the UK, preferably a librarian or library worker recognize this poster? At the bottom it says “Library Association Poster”

They’ve seen the errors of their ways. It was a mis-step of an otherwise excellent writer’s festival.

Sitting have my morning coffee on my tiny back porch and this little sparrow came to visit. She really was that close.
