Time makes you stronger, but grief never gets easier. Valentine's Day makes me think of wry smiles, pumpkin with yogurt, hot chocolate, and kisses that make time stop. It's been five years since the first time I saw the sunrise with you next to me and I love you just as much. #grief #partnerloss

Today would be three years, by the Jewish calendar, since I lost my best friend and partner. It doesn’t feel real. I find myself desperately missing our “food porn” rituals – in which we’d send each other pictures and critiques of every recipe.

Trying to get more serious about my poetry writing but it feels like a Sisyphean task.
