Last week the LIPLab held its Methusalem Research Day. We shared an overview of our work since 2023 and our vision for the coming years with the governing and scientific boards and colleagues. A huge thanks to Jan, Alex, Yannick, Martin, Matthias, Zita, and Marine for their presentations.

Last week, Jan received the Sarton medal in recognition of his contribution to the history of science. He gave an inspiring talk on the relevance of B. F. Skinner for the future of behavioral science. Congrats Jan!

Pieter and Tilia presented at Dag van de Wetenschap! They discussed how our brain functions as a prediction machine and how to apply this knowledge to change behavior. #DVDW #dagvandewetenschap2025

Last week, Zita, Matthias, Jan, Guilherme, and Alex from the LipLab participated in the 12th International Conference of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). They presented several posters and talks.

In September, we enjoyed our annual research retreat, filled with engaging discussions, shared dinners, and plenty of laughter! We are totally ready for a new academic year!
