Neither here nor there.
The way #Radio4 announce, "and now it's The Archers" is very unfair. It gives you no time at all to stop the Sounds app before the assault of its triggering theme tune. This is where I miss radios with knobs.

Smallbones then turned the entire Frankfurt British Consulate into a machine with one job: getting Jews out of Germany to safety in Britain. But the bottleneck remained:

The Consul (Smallbones himself) had to sign EVERYTHING, and often the Gestapo would only release people if he went personally /14

Scenario: #Trump rocks up at Davos and offers $57bn for #Greenland, a cool million for every inhabitant. A snip for a land mass three times the size of France, they could afford it. Are Greenlanders tempted?

You'd think that after more than half a century #NASA might have had time to prepare something more refined instead of this "first crude mission to the moon" I keeping hearing about.

A feature I'd love but have never seen in a media/music player is an album bookmark: a marker you can set in an album to take you back to where you got to last time if you didn't listen to the end. Does this exist anywhere?

@support.bsky.team . Please don't make me have to put my glasses on to read tags and handle. My eyesight isn't that bad but the colour contrast simply is not accessible. It should be.

The Austrian word of the year, "Emile", mentioned in #StrongMessageHere with @aiannucci.bsky.social, after the runaway elk viral sensation, was actually misheard. They weren't saying "here is Emile" they were saying "here is a meal".

Love this scene in The Harder They Come with Jimmy Cliff running errands on his bike, catching Toots And The Maytals in the studio and being inspired.

Bluesky #accessibility. Low contrast of the blue #hashtag text is difficult to read in dark mode. There are web design rules for this kind of thing. Is it compliant? Would be good to be able to adjust the colour in appearance settings.
