A little delayed at the start, but just caught up. An absolutely excellent first episode. How could it not be with that cast. We're in for a real treat over the next few weeks.

Yeah featured the late Hiroshi Yoshimura many times when I was doing Electronic Odyssey. An artist I knew nothing of at the time of its release, but a firm favourite of mine nowadays x

Completely agree with that description. 'Hats' has a similar feel. Just a wonderful couple of albums x

Ah ok... I'll stick to my previous assessment!
lippykidmusic.bsky.social
Should I read it or am I ok to continue with my 'just another money grabbing grifter' assessment?

Ah that's brilliant. No doubt about it the sound on that Blue Nile album is everything x

Giving some initial thoughts to #5debutalbums8084.

These two will almost certainly make the cut.

Beautiful ambient music of the kankyō ongaku variety, and beautiful melancholic pop from north of the border.

Perfect 💙x

Album covers for 'Music For Nine Postcards' by Hiroshi Yoshimura, and 'A Walk Across The Rooftops' by The Blue Nile, lay on top of record player.

Great stuff. A really nice option if you get the chance x

Topical post John given the task of getting Kraftwerk tickets this morning. Prices are now so crazy across the board I weirdly felt their charges seemed reasonable. I just think with streaming killing the possibility of making a living from recorded music, there's a sad inevitability about it.

Ah good to hear that. Seen them many times too, but with Ralf now approaching 80 I really wanted to be there. The systems aren't perfect, but its the way of the digital world sadly.

It is a frenzy for sure. Hope you're successful in the General sale x

I've always believed that the country functions better when we have credible opposition. Carry on as they are and it'll be the end of them. Weird for one of the most politically successful parties in history.

I didn't mention Sunak of course. He seems a bit of an anomaly in this list, but its worth remembering he was rejected by the party membership and only got his leadership position thanks to his fellow MPs!

I really don't understand why anyone takes Badenoch seriously. She seems to represent the current trend for the party to choose nutters to represent it. Truss before, possibly Jenrick next. Appreciate the press have to show balance, but behind the scenes they must be pissing their sides!

Hey Andy. A link was sent out last night for those subscribed to their website for an initial pre-sale today. I think there are more pre-sales due tomorrow for members of select theatres x
lippykidmusic.bsky.social
Pre-sales continuing tomorrow at select venues, before general sale on Friday. Best of luck if you go for it x

Ah that's will be brilliant Kenny. Great you hear you got sorted 🙏x

Nice one Mike. Similar thoughts. Those near stage tickets were a bit pricey for us x
