This cat is almost 11 years old, never had a family and is heavily traumatized. Six weeks ago somebody warned me that adopting him would've been like "nailing my own balls to a wooden board". Somebody was wrong.

Takara patent for converting a Transformer using an air pump. Filed 1985-02-28, around the same timeframe that Scramble City toys were being developed. Invented by Katsumi Ogawa and Kei Yokoyama. JPS61199879A

The Japanese patent for the MC-13 Micro Change release of Megatron with his U.N.C.L.E. parts. It shows off his transformation and various configurations in 35 small diagrams. Filed 1983-06-15. Invented by Takashi Matsuda. JPS59232572A (1/2)

Around the same time Daishirou Shibukawa was working on the unreleased dino triple changers, he also invented this unreleased mini dinobot. The T-Rex details resemble Grimlock, but the transformation and robot mode are totally original. Filed 1985-01-31. JPS61130288
