Question for authors: I received notice from Cambridge UP about an option to allow my book Petro-Aggression for AI training, with remuneration. Strikes me as a collective action problem: if I decline but every other author accepts, have I only harmed myself? Thoughts?
lipscy.bsky.social
I declined. This is effectively signing away not only the contents of the book but your own writing style and voice. No way I am endorsing that for fractions of a penny.
