Spotted this on an item I uploaded to Vinted earlier.

Even if you're only writing a few words, it's always worth double checking the spelling...

(No, I don't understand the quotation marks either 🤷‍♀️)

Text on item of packaging says 'Uses 3 AAA batteries (not included)', but included is misspelled and there are erroneous double quotation marks after 3 and AAA.

On this #IWD2025 and National Proofreading Day, it occurs to me that all my clients so far this year have been women. Just coincidence. I've proofread a PhD thesis (USA) and a non-fiction book (Australia) and recently accepted another non-fiction book (Latvia). International women, indeed 😀

Did the same #StetWalk route today as on Monday, but went anticlockwise instead of clockwise round the hill. Some different views and lots of Highland cattle having breakfast 🥰

Several Highland cows, all with large horns and long shaggy dark orange coats, eat from a circular trough in a muddy area of their field. One cow looks towards the camera. Made best use of my 45-min lunchbreak today to take a longer #StetWalk than usual. I’ve been very lazy for the last couple of weeks, so I'll be a bit sore tomorrow, but it's worth it! ☀️

1. I have to buy a new wiper blade for my car, and

2. there's enough fuel for 246 miles in it

when I barely need to drive anywhere before the delivery of my new car in ten days. Typical!

Assuming going to the pavement with the bin (& returning to take it in once emptied) doesn't *really* count as 'going out', I spent the last two days indoors with a cold. Today I made the effort to go out for TWO walks, including past the village 'Christmas house'. Feeling better already.

Looking up a quiet residential street towards a house (on the right-hand side of the road) whose frontage is entirely covered with bright Christmas lights. The family lights the house this way every December to raise money for charity.

Nice Christmas morning walk earlier with my mum. It's nice to have the relative calm of a large park within a few minutes' walk of her city home.
