Oh man, in swedish it's called toast-bread regardless of what kind of bread it is, so long as it has the right shape. It never registered to me that english doesn't do that.

I've currently reached the point of "if it's not harmful or very expensive and has the slightest suggestion of possibly helping his situation, I might as well"

His situation has stabilized, with 40+ days without a seizure (knock on wood), but man, this really has been a lesson on how easy it is for people offering "alternative medicine" to prey on people who feel like they're out of options.

I see! Digital ID has been a thing in my country for my entire adult life, so I just assumed it was common everywhere. 😅 Initially it was just for logging into online banks, but now it's used for all kinds of stuff, like ordering prescription meds and doing your taxes online.

Wait, do you not have digital IDs? What do you do when you need to confirm your identity online?

And the statement was NOT (as the article tries to make it sound) made as a response to the Equity union's move to protect their workers against AI; it was just a response to the last out of several questions they were asked in this Radio Times intreview; www.radiotimes.com/movies/walla...
