Yes! It was the trees for me, too. It must have been winter, because I remember bare trees and being able to see every little twig sharply defined. I still love the “I can see every molecule” moment of each new prescription.

Just had a vivid sense memory from high school of waiting for the bus in the dark pre-dawn, with my hair frozen into sticks, but not putting a hat on or zipping up my coat because that would have been uncool.

Reminds me of how my mom made lamb every Easter that no one else liked. Every year we gently suggested something else next year, she acted surprised, and next year was lamb again. Thing is, she had a memory like a steel trap. Did she block out those conversations consciously or subconsciously? 🤷‍♀️

Mine loves asparagus the most out of all people foods. He will steal it from the fridge or hover by the oven when it’s cooking.
