Ten overpasses along US 50, through El Dorado County must have made for quite the image for folk driving through our red county, on their way Up The Hill. We had a lovely day with families, seniors and dogs, waving to the happy drivers heading to the Sierra. #nokings

This girl has been “helping” me to create a stem garden in the front yard. She has a taste for strawberry plants and hydrangeas and I just hope that this constant attention to detail is to fuel a pregnancy. She is a beauty, dammit.

We took our handmade cardboard signs and stood with hundreds of new friends, on highway 49 in Auburn, CA. The foothills of the Sierra are quite Red, but today, the honking horns and waving far outnumbered the negative people. We were primarily seniors but did our bit. #april19 #protest
