For the past several days I've been helping to care for my mom in Indiana. (She broke her femur when her rambunctious dogs bowled her over) Now playing: Fox News on TV, barking dogs, & some kinda woo-woo shit on her iPad about "healing benefits" of structured water.

I was a runty 9 yo catcher on my city league (1974) and routinely got mowed down behind the plate by large 15 yo girls.
Being mowed down by a 9 yr old boy or transgirl would have been less painful.
(The league included girls ages 8-15 b/c there weren't yet enough players to field age divisions.)

This is some of the trash from the 1940s buried beneath the highly contaminated Bingham Park in Greensboro. It had washed into a stream that runs through it.
