With summer break fast approaching, I have been wanting to start offering beta reading, editing, and proofreading services more again. I redid my "gig" picture for fiverr and think it turned out pretty well!
I'm trying to read at least 10 books this month. I think I'm off to a pretty great start! Also, I highly recommend Space Cheese to any satirical science fiction lovers.

I didn't quite hit the number of books read that I'd wanted (10), but I am proud of myself for finishing out a full month of reading every single day.

Does anyone listen to music while they read or write? Just finished a whole scene with this on repeat: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTp2...

After a good start on my annual reading challenge, I've fallen seriously behind. Hoping to catch up, and currently reading:

I'm settling in to reread an old favorite after randomly seeing it on a library run. I wonder if it will "speak" as much to adult me as it did to the younger version.

I received my yearly eval. It went great, and there was a lot of praise, but my supervisor let on that she uses ChatGPT to "polish" her writing for many official documents. She didn't explicitly say she did for evaluations...but now I'm wondering how real her eval comments are.

It might just be me... but should monthly supplies be on this aisle?!

I'm crowdsourcing my picks for a goodreads reading challenge this year. If you know a book fitting the description below, please share! Self-recommendations very much allowed, but the book must be available on KU.

Trying to find my next read for the "Around the Year in 52 Books" challenge on goodreads. KU preferred, and self-recommendations more than welcome!

Do dragons count for this one?

I didn't quite meet my overall reading goal for the year (91/100), but I did finish Around the Year in 52 books on GoodReads for the first time. Hopefully, 2025 is the year I'll finally reach 100!

Sometimes (most of the time) I wish we could easily choose what we remember and what we don't. I'd really like to keep new family birthdays over the phone number that hasn't been used since I was 7.

Am I wrong for assuming that buying a subscription for someone as a gift will increase the subscription time for the recipient if they already had an active account?

White Knight Romances are a guilty pleasure of mine. But, I am so very tired of always seeing the motivation of the rescuer be solely centered on how gorgeous or handsome the one in need of being rescued is.

Last day of school before Thanksgiving break. To all other teachers that are looking forward to this tiny blip before testing, it's one of the roughest points in the year. But we've got this!

Hit block on my first troll here. Sad that it happened, but oh so happy that it took this long. Also nice that the block button actually does something here.
