It’s too damn obvious these politicians don’t have any real clue what health insurance costs to teal people.
Tbh, for the gazillion people who don’t read, only watch video news & pop culture memes (& not much of that), how would they know? We really are living in a schizophrenic, 2 different realities culture.
The problem is, those calling the shots are largely in the “unmoved” camp.

Much more likely that major shareholders are propping up the valuation short-term until they can sell off their stock in case it plummets. But I would not be at all surprised if he *does* find loans & vc funding for his other projects, using that valuation as collateral.

In other major cities in U.S. at present, minimum wages fall short (some *very short*, like Dallas, at 36.9%) of living wage.
The closest to a living wage is Denver (83:7%); King County WA is next (at 75.7%). The other “high” scoring cities are only 70-75% (LA, D.C., Cook County IL).
