Finally, yes, I am a child SA/pedo survivor, so I am biased. And honestly, on this topic, I am okay with that, because it also means I speak from a lifetime of experience.

So, THIS is why art matters. It’s is why artists matter, why our voice matters. You know what I mean?

But information can be used as a weapon. And when it comes to predators, we get caught up in “proof”—as if what matters most is who can “win” the game.

Regardless, pedoph*lia is coming into the collective consciousness again, even if only for a moment.

The art is forcing the conversation.(5/6)

You may say, “Please it’s just rap beef.”

Well, I’m not qualified to know anything about that👋🏻 but I imagine yes AND it’s something much bigger.

Because if I knew someone to be a predator—and believe me, I have—I wish I had the courage Kendrick has to make sure the whole world hears it.(4/6)

And if you’re being accused of being a sexual predator? Trust—your power has protected you for a long time.

If someone is saying your name, it’s for a reason.

Speaking out takes an unmatched resilience, going against a system designed to keep us quiet. Chances are we aren’t making it up. (3/6)

TW // There is a reason I don’t use the word “alleged” when I talk about a sexual predator.

Because when we consider “innocent until proven guilty,” we’re talking about a system that protects those with the most power.

A “due process” that fails survivors daily. (2/6)
