I still get heated every time I watch the scooby gang kick Buffy out the house she is paying the mortgage for and they are literally squatting in, since she is the only one paying the bills. Like they made her get a full time job and she still has to be the slayer

Like language and how we describe things matter when people infer details from messages that passive phrasing it seem as “nothing can be done, we just ran out of funds..” not “the gov is choosing to deny you benefits” it irks me o so much

I hate the phrasing when talking about snap benefits, like “drying up and run out” that means the funds are not present and can not be used, but that they are being denied use and people are being forced to go hungry.

Just went on hinge for the first time in months and dear lord. Why are 18 year olds on there trying to talk to me?!? Like a literal baby liked me and wrote a comment about why I should give them a chance. I was like “look at the baby using their grown up words, awww sweet”
