At least right now 64gb of ddr5 is just ridiculously expensive and not "get shanked in the streets for it" expensive, but it's coming. Consumer compute is gonna suuuck for a while.

This is a temp build, I'm selling my NAS and my main rig to finance a new build because with AI taking all the fab capacity, building a PC in the next 3 years is going to suck even more and I don't want to have to sit there lamenting having to buy a 2k USD stick of ram in 2027.
