The KLPA only has 200 members - the vast majority of women who swim in the ponds don't even know it exists, let alone that it's been taken over by a clique that thinks their vote can override the law. It can't.

It’s very difficult (as you’ll see) to get a good pic of ⁦
Fortnum & Mason's⁩ window displays. They’re always imaginative, but these creatures, made of recycled materials, are absolutely magnificent. I’m bagging the hyena for my living room.
Octopus made of old wne corks and tins Dung beetles made of recycled prop materials, including paint chippings, nails and sawdust. Hyena made with old staff uniforms and sample tea towels. Close up of raggedy hyena.

Thank you! So easy and so therapeutic to knit...

I had the brilliant idea of making a mitred square blanket (you join it up as you go along) to use up all my odds and ends of wool, except I've now run out of 'odds and ends' and the blanket is only a quarter finished so I'm having to buy vast amounts of extra 'odds and ends' just to carry on....

Haa!! Yes, me too - and I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

Underneath your labels you're just a bunch of misogynists.

'No debate' doesn't work any more. The law is on the side of reality.

Men in women's spaces cause discomfort, embarrassment and alarm for women. Doesn't that matter to you?

To me, that's a Louis Wain cat who's just been electrocuted.

Yes, plenty of men have stood with women over the years, thank God, fighting against misogyny and violence. That doesn't negate the necessity for single sex spaces.

Yes, we're all biological; no-one disputes that, as I think you know.

They were refused because the interventions were personal statements rather than legal arguments.

'Woman' and 'man' are words that were totally understandable to everybody until about ten minutes ago. I think we all know which side today's newspeak has come from.

Women should not have to continual justify why we don't want to share changing and toilet facilities with men. Sex matters in life and law.

It's been the law since the Equality Act of 2010. The 2025 Supreme Court ruling only confirmed that.

I’m a pond user. But I’m not a female nurse wanting a single sex space to change in, and yet I will fight for that too.

If a service is advertised as for women, then ‘women’ means ‘biological women’. It’s the law.

I reiterate what I wrote about the vote, of which the vast majority of pond users knew (and still know) nothing. The sign at the entrance has always read ‘Women’s Pond. No men allowed beyond this point.’
