What we're witnessing with #Melissa is ultra rare in the history of known hurricanes in the Atlantic. This level of sustained intensity and feasting on every joule of ocean heat content without any real disruption is incredible.

Not hyperbole: Jamaica is facing a generational catastrophic event.

Join us tomorrow! Flood the phones line/ inboxes of your representatives! We can’t stand by and watch them attempt to criminalize teachers and librarians because a loud minority want to strip away teacher autonomy and safety, students’ right to read, and dismantle the sanctuaries that are libraries!
As we prepare for #EducationAdvocacyDay, the message from our @ncte.org Liaison, @litbark.bsky.social, YOUR VOICE MATTERS, #TCTELA members and supporters.

Contact your representative for the issues that mean most to you and your students.

I get some offices like dentists and doctors moving towards check-ins for “efficiency.”However, not everyone is digital and then What? I’m watching this older gentleman struggle with this and his daughter is trying to help him 😫 I think of my folks in their 80s and aren’t digital.
