4.5⭐️ Just when you think you know how the story goes, it shifts throwing you into another encounter with dinosaurs.

2.5⭐️ There is so much going on in this book. I was expecting a romcom but it’s more of a deflated thriller.

But seriously, there’s three really distinct plots going. And while it all makes sense none of them really work together.

3.5⭐️The banter is a lot of fun. But the plot has been done before and feels a little too similar to the movie PS I Love You (title doesn’t help any) for it to not be very predictable.

However I really loved the main characters.

3⭐️ The audiobook is fantasticly narrated: feels like listening to a storyteller spin a fairy tale. But Meyer tries to combine too many elements leaving the middle dragging. The beginning/end were solid though.

Not sure I’ll read the conclusion.

3.5⭐️ I really loved the concept of dealing with “terminal” illness.

SPOILER: could’ve done without Lewis as a shark w/ human consciousness. It felt like Habeck was told she needed an afterlife part after almost 300 pages that push against that concept. It almost ruined it for me.
