I read something theorizing about how half-time shows are used for co-opting movements by presenting the aesthetics of a movement but not any actions, and I was pondering if, in the unlikely chance that this would ever be such a show, it would fit the same criteria

Honestly since when has Bond made sense or had continuity. Space lasers and the guy with the metal teeth. They already did a reboot with Daniel Craig in the era when reboots were potentially good and even that didn't have continuity (see Quantum of Solace). It's fine just do what you want
