Anyway, I think in this case is an Occam's Razor situation. They saw something, went "Hey. This probably would work better if we did this". They did that, and they were wrong.

Hilariously, in this situation, it means they took extra time and care to TRY to do something to help, and it backfired.

Hard to dedupe something that is basically 90% unique structures.

iRacing is about 100ish and that's cause every track is it's own unique sequence of assets. So that kinda makes sense.
