This is what I appreciated about her insights and yours. We can’t just keep letting folks ramble on without actually talking about the folks in the ground whose paychecks are just too small.

one of the speakers circled the question of income focusing instead on COLA when the caller clearly wanted to know about wages. Wages are stagnant and we know profit keeps growing so COLA must include talk about wages.

Adding to that, what some of them have learned is how to weaponize systems that were meant to protect them. The protections are there for good reason, and weaponizing them hurts everyone. So, no, “flunk them” is not as easy as it sounds.

I work in both practical methods and theoretical concepts and have never been at a shortage of *actual photos and art. Amazing what can happen outside of the computer screen!

There is already a ‘rule’… several actually: laws, morals, ethics, social agreements, trust, Jesus-and-Jesus-adjacent things, norms, common decency, common sense, and more that I am sure I am missing. This hasn’t stopped them
from lying.

Not at all. It would set them up with a tool they can use throughout undergrad and grad.

I know you know this, but for others who might not… librarians are great at running a zotero / citation workshop for a class. So maybe they use the library for support as needed as the course progresses?
